Grand Union Canal Northamptonshire

The village of Stoke Bruerne straddles the Grand Union Canal roughly 6 1/2 miles or 10.46 Km South from the centre of Northampton. We spent a very memorable day cruising the canal from Stoke Bruerne to Bugbrooke and back which was the highlight of our trip to the UK.
I would recommend a trip on the canal to anyone, it is a truly marvellous way to spend a day and lets you see the countryside from a very much different aspect to driving.
