The EKKA is Queensland's annual show day, ( now ) officially known as The Royal Queensland Show. Once upon a time it was The Brisbane Exhibition, and "Exhibition" mutated into "EKKA", everyone knew it was in Brisbane so that was dropped and now everyone calls it the EKKA.
As this was the last time the chair lift will operate it was an opportunity to get some photos from a not to be repeated point of view.
